Pirate Week!

We had a fantastic pirate week in our classroom! We read pirate stories, we created our own pirate characters and stories, and we created top secret treasure maps.

On Friday we all dressed up as pirates. We spent the day acting out the parts well!

Our treasure maps included 4 landmarks and a compass rose.

We ended off our week with our first "Mystery Reader" coming in to the classroom. Pirate, "Crazy Voiced Nelly" came and read some very silly Pirate stories to our class!

Pirate Week!

We're sailing away on the high seas this week to the land of "Pirate Week!" We will be discovering buried treasure by creating our own maps, we will be writing about our very own pirates and we will be dressing up as pirates on Friday to celebrate this fun adventure of a week! So cal all yer mateys and gather up your treasure and meet us at high tide! An adventure awaits!
